Sarah Baker
Sarah Baker finds joy. Since 2011, she has been styling people and places for video and photo productions. She started two of Portland’s most popular monthly dance parties, The Get Down and The Hustle and In 2017, Sarah established Boogie Buffet Productions, producing art films and music videos. Collaboration is what gets Sarah out of bed in the morning, the thrill of seeing what a group of folks can create through shared vision keeps her energy high. Sarah has a keen eye for the strengths in others and gets immense pleasure in helping folks shine. Though her early efforts at incorporating environmentalism into the fast paced and heavily disposable world of styling were only minimally successful, Sarah continues to find ways to be more environmentally mindful in her work and to inspire those around her to do the same.

Angela McIlvain
Angela McIlvain [mackle-vane] is enthusiastic. She loves seeing a great idea unfolding, then jumping in to support it with her Mary-Poppins’-bag of collected skills and tools. Collaborating with creative folks is central to everything she does. Be it as an Art Director on commercials, a set designer for theatre, a prop fabricator for film, or an activist for the earth she loves the process of discovering the truth for each moment and utilizing it to create objects and spaces that help tell each story.
She’s passionate about intersectional feminism, planet earth, and creating a future we can be proud of. She’s beyond thrilled to be a part of Making Earth Cool!

Katya
Katya owns and operates a queer, femme, and BIPOC-centric company called Klip Klop Productions, which provides event, media, and resourcing services for the Portland and LGBTQ+ communities at large! In the last five years, we have produced drag brunches, panels, fundraisers, after-hour events, variety shows, themed dance parties, trivias, bingos, podcasts, virtual talk shows, fitness classes, and all sorts of digital queer content! He also is a current commissioner on the Oregon Commission of Hispanic Affairs, works with the creative climate resilience collective Making Earth Cool, and is a coach at OrangeTheory Fitness.
As a purveyor of organized chaos and ethical nonsense, I strongly believe that community, health, and activism are best when it's multi-faceted, inclusive, and unconventional! Through her work, Katya aims to prioritize diversity and equity, inspire full and radical self-acceptance and love, and foster a variety of spaces that are safe, mindful and celebrate our potentials for good!
